The following table is an estimate
of costs for constructing a home. Costs do vary considerably and this table is only
meant to be a rough guideline! Material selection and the quality can be from
rough sawn materials to #1 pine (knot free). Labor will also vary depending on
the "who is doing the project". Roofs can be raftered with fiberglass
between (about half the costs of a full 4-inch ridged insulation). Normally, the
kit style log home will be $50-$60 per square foot for materials and $75-$85 per
square foot when fully contracted. Using our "Logs-Only"
technique, a log home will average $25-$35 per square foot for materials and
